Casa "Su Pasiu" in Muravera- located just minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia.

Casa "Su Pasiu" is centred in the "Centro Storico" (historical
center) of Muravera, but also close to some amazing beaches
(see pictures >>>). The area of Muravera is undiscovered
by tourists, retaining the traditional festivals, such
as "Sagra di Agrumi", the citrus fruit festival in April
and many others in which the town dresses in traditional
costumes and the local wine and produce can be appreciated.
There are also music festivals at different times of the
year.
Muravera is a living town, which has numerous excellent
restaurants open all year serving the best of local fish,
meat and pasta dishes. It's an all year round destination
without high- rise hotels or apartments offering the opportunity
to enjoy and experience a multitude of activities as well
as peace and quiet.
This beautiful guest- house has lots of character. We
reconstructed this historic building recently, keeping
in mind the architecture and materials of the area. Timber
beams in juniper and chestnut, granite and marble stone,
bamboo roofs and a wonderful atmosphere in the enclosed
courtyard with bougainvillea and Mediterranean garden.
The total size of this charming building is about 575m²
with the courtyard taking up 175m².
The enchanting five bedrooms all have private bathrooms
are very spacious with air conditioning and heating. All
bathrooms have extra size showers for comfort and space.
Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with it's own theme.
We have the charming Sardinian
twin bedroom (en-suite) with hand-painted antique furniture
with internal wooden steps leading to your bathroom and
another set of stairs leading to a cosy loft area under
the roof. |
"Africa" with
3 beds and massive original juniper beams (dating from
the 1800s) is the largest bedroom, wooden floor, gorgeous
view onto the courtyard and adjoining private bathroom
give the room a very special, warm feeling.
En-suite room Monsoon
has a lovely antique cast iron queen-size bed and a bamboo
and timber roof with an unusual triangular shaped bathroom.
Popular with our honey-mooner's is en-suite room Spain,
spacious with beautifully designed bed set in brick and
stone with high ceilings, stylish dressing table and large
bathroom.
Room Ocean has a fresh blue
ambience with handmade curtains, twin beds and pine furniture.
A lovely rooftop veranda with arches allows you to enjoy
peaceful evenings with a view towards the hills and town
of Muravera. Personal touches add a sense of well being
with lots of care given to every detail to make your stay
with us very special.
Breakfast is served under the arches of the veranda or
in our beautiful dining room. There is also a BBQ and
pizza oven in the courtyard, an evening of which can be
arranged on request.
The nearest beach is located at San Giovanni, 2 km outside
of Muravera. Muravera is surrounded by miles of unexplored
beaches with both white and volcanic sand, all to be found
within 10-15 car minutes. If you would like to get away
from it all and have a private beach, this is the place
for you. The colours and smells of an untouched nature
travel with you through your journey discovering the magic
areas of the Sarrabus.
